The non-invasive Sculptra Butt Lift is not a substitute for fat grafting or butt implants.  This procedure is meant for the patient who desires a subtle lift, improvement of the texture on the buttock area, some contouring and a small volume increase.  Dr. Soni will use Sculptra, an FDA approved volumizer used for rejuvenating the face by stimulating your own body’s collagen.  At Ethos Spa, Dr. Soni frequently utilizes Sculptra, to improve texture and elasticity on off facial areas of the body, like the chest, knees, and arms.

The Sculptra Butt Lift typically requires a series of treatments spaced about 3-6 weeks apart.  Results of Sculptra typically last 2 or more years.  Eventually, it is metabolized and absorbed without harm by the body.

How will I know if I am a candidate?

In the initial consultation, Dr. Soni will discuss the degree of change and the improvement you are looking for.  To further assess whether a Sculptra Butt Lift is suitable or a more invasive surgical procedure, Dr. Soni will use saline injections to map, shape, and contour the buttock area. He will also assess if the candidate can be improved with this procedure.

How much does the procedure cost?

During Dr. Soni consultation, saline injections are used to contour the buttocks and lift.  The amount of saline mapped can help guide approximately how much Sculptra will be needed for desired results.  An estimate of pricing can then be given.

Is the procedure painful?

At Ethos Spa, we always look to maximize patient comfort.  Topical anesthesia can be used, but this is typically not considered a painful treatment.

Is there any downtime?

Bruising is common, and can take 1 to 2 weeks to resolve.  We recommend that all patients take this into account when planning.  Some soreness is common for a few days after the procedure, although typically daily activities are not affected.
