Modern Family’s Ariel Winter Went Public – And You Should Too

Recently, Ariel Winter, the young star of ABC’s hit family comedy “Modern Family”, went public about her own cosmetic procedures performed at the young age of 15. Living in the public eye made her excessively aware of how the media would oversexualize her image, and she needed to make a change.. Headlines referred to what she considered the negative aspects of her appearance, far more than they talked about her performance on the television show.

Ariel Winter Speaks Out!

Recently, Ms. Winter has chosen to speak out about her decision to have a cosmetic procedure and how that decision has positively impacted her life. In her job, it’s important to appear confident in public appearances and red carpets, but going out was a challenge.

Ms. Winter continues, “there’s some good that can come from [telling] my story. It’s something that I did to better my life and better my health and I think that that can benefit a lot of young girls. I have felt more happy with myself than I ever have.”
