  1. There is no such thing as a facelift in a bottle – while the industry loves to promote this concept and does a great job of selling it, no product will ever be able to surpass surgeries, dermal fillers, etc.
  2. Retina is the real deal – Retina products are actually the closest topical product out there for treating anti-aging that is not a cosmetic procedure.
  3. Dermatologist Approved is a Lie – Just because your beauty product has ‘dermatologist approved’ on its label does not mean all dermatologists approve of it, it actually means one dermatologist, paid by the company, approved it.
  4. Hypoallergenic Will Not Protect You – the term hypoallergenic is what the surgeon general calls a ‘puffery claim’, a claim that doesn’t mean anything, but sounds good (typically, products with fragrances, alcohol, and/or lanolin are the types that will cause allergic reactions).
  5. Eye creams Lie – If you look at the ingredients of a common moisturizer and eye cream, eye cream typically has the exact same ingredients as a moisturizer, just in a smaller bottle (what works for eye wrinkles: vitamin A or Retinal Palmitate)
